     Eliza Andrews was the daughter of John Andrews.1 She married Hon. George Baillie of Jerviswoode and Mellerstain, son of Charles Hamilton, Lord Binning and Rachel Baillie, in 1759.1 She died on 24 April 1799.1
     From 1759, her married name became Baillie.1

     Charles Hamilton, Lord Binning was born in 1697.2 He was the son of Thomas Hamilton, 6th Earl of Haddington and Helen Hope.1 He was also reported to have been married on 24 August 1717 at Earlston, Berwickshire, Scotland.2 He married Rachel Baillie, daughter of George Baillie of Jerviswoode and Mellerstain and Hon. Grizel Hume, on 3 September 1717 at Whitekirk, East Lothian, Scotland.1,2 He died on 27 December 1732.3
     He was styled as Lord Binning.1 He held the office of Knight Marischal of Scotland in 1718.1

     Rachel Baillie was born on 23 February 1696.1,2 She was the daughter of George Baillie of Jerviswoode and Mellerstain and Hon. Grizel Hume.1 She married Charles Hamilton, Lord Binning, son of Thomas Hamilton, 6th Earl of Haddington and Helen Hope, on 3 September 1717 at Whitekirk, East Lothian, Scotland.1,2 She died on 24 March 1773 at age 77.1
     From 3 September 1717, her married name became Hamilton.

George Baillie of Jerviswoode and Mellerstain 2
     George Baillie of Jerviswoode and Mellerstain was born circa 1664 at Jerviswood, Lanarkshire, Scotland.3 He was the son of Robert Baillie of Jerviswoode and Rachel Johnston.4,3 He married Hon. Grizel Hume, daughter of Patrick Hume, 1st Earl of Marchmont and Grizel Ker, on 17 September 1692.5 He died on 6 August 1738 at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.6

     Thomas Hamilton, 7th Earl of Haddington was baptised on 29 October 1720 at Whitekirk, East Lothian, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Charles Hamilton, Lord Binning and Rachel Baillie.1 He married, firstly, Mary Holt, daughter of Rowland Holt, on 28 October 1750.1 He married, secondly, Anne Gascoigne, daughter of Sir Charles Gascoigne and Mary Garbett, on 6 March 1786.1 He died on 19 May 1794 at age 73.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Haddington [S., 1627] on 28 November 1735.1 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Binning [S., 1613] on 28 November 1735.1 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Byres and Binning [S., 1627] on 28 November 1735.1

     Margaret Borthwick was the daughter of James Borthwick of Newbyres.1 She married Thomas Hamilton, 1st Earl of Haddington, son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield and Elizabeth Heriot, circa 1588.2 She died in December 1596.1
     From after 1588, her married name became Hamilton.

     Margaret Foulis was the daughter of James Foulis of Colinton.1 She married Thomas Hamilton, 1st Earl of Haddington, son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield and Elizabeth Heriot, between May 1597 and August 1597.2 She died on 31 May 1609.
     Her married name became Hamilton.

     James Borthwick of Newbyres married Elizabeth Murray, daughter of Sir Andrew Murray of Blackbarony and Grizel Bethune, on 20 April 1572.2 He died in April 1574.
     He lived at Newbryes, ScotlandG.3 He was also known as James Borthwick of Glengilt.2
