     Emily Sarah Cleugh was the daughter of Venerable John Cleugh.² She married Colonel George William Cockburn, son of Sir William Sarsfield Rossiter Cockburn of that Ilk, 7th Bt. and Ann Coke, on 5 June 1861.¹ She died on 18 December 1923.¹
     From 5 June 1861, her married name became Cockburn.¹

     Major William Alexander Crawford Cockburn was born on 7 May 1863.¹ He was the son of Colonel George William Cockburn and Emily Sarah Cleugh.² He died on 30 August 1924 at age 61.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Queen's Bays.¹ He fought in the Benin Campaign, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the Nigeria Expedition in 1897, as Deputy Chief of Staff.¹ He fought in the West African Campaign in 1898.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He fought in the West African Campaign in 1902.¹

     Charles Edward Stuart Cockburn was born on 27 October 1867.¹ He was the son of Colonel George William Cockburn and Emily Sarah Cleugh.² He married Lilian Manningham-Buller, daughter of Sir Morton Edward Manningham-Buller, 2nd Bt. and Mary Davenport, on 8 August 1894.¹ He died on 12 December 1917 at age 50.¹
     He held the office of County Alderman for Derbyshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.¹

     Sir Morton Edward Manningham-Buller, 2nd Bt. was born on 31 May 1825.² He was the son of Sir Edward Manningham-Buller, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Manningham.² He married Mary Davenport, daughter of William Davenport, on 12 February 1863.² He died on 27 April 1910 at age 84.²
     He was given the name of Morton Edward Buller-Yarde-Buller at birth. He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² In 1866 his name was legally changed to Morton Edward Manningham-Buller. He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Manningham-Buller, of Dilhorne Hall, Staffs [U.K., 1866] on 22 September 1882.² He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Prince of Wales' North Staffordshire Regiment.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.²

     Lilian Manningham-Buller was born on 14 February 1874.² She was the daughter of Sir Morton Edward Manningham-Buller, 2nd Bt. and Mary Davenport.² She married Charles Edward Stuart Cockburn, son of Colonel George William Cockburn and Emily Sarah Cleugh, on 8 August 1894.¹ She died on 23 November 1943 at age 69.¹
     From 8 August 1894, her married name became Cockburn.¹

     Sylvia Cockburn is the daughter of Charles Edward Stuart Cockburn and Lilian Manningham-Buller.² She married Colonel Reginald William Welfare Hills, son of Jacob William Hills, on 10 November 1919.¹
     From 10 November 1919, her married name became Hills.

     Jacob William Hills lived at Riverhead, Kent, England^G.¹

     Colonel Reginald William Welfare Hills was the son of Jacob William Hills.² He married Sylvia Cockburn, daughter of Charles Edward Stuart Cockburn and Lilian Manningham-Buller, on 10 November 1919.¹ He died on 5 February 1962.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Rosalind Cockburn is the daughter of Charles Edward Stuart Cockburn and Lilian Manningham-Buller.² She married Commander Guy Darracott Millar, son of Charles Christian Hoyer Millar and Beatrix du Maurier, on 7 April 1921.²
     From 7 April 1921, her married name became Millar. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1962.¹

     Charles Christian Hoyer Millar was born on 4 March 1860.² He is the son of William Millar and Julia Matilda Scott.² He married Beatrix du Maurier, daughter of George du Maurier, on 15 May 1884.² He died on 8 June 1942 at age 82.²
