Sarah McQuade was the daughter of Henry McQuade.2 She married William Cochrane, son of Thomas Cochrane and Jane McKibben.1 She died on 29 January 1877.1

Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. was born on 21 December 1836.1 He was the son of William Cochrane and Sarah McQuade.2 He married Margaret Gilchrist, daughter of Richard Gilchrist, on 10 May 1865.1 He died on 11 September 1904 at age 67.1
He was chairman of Bray Township Commissioners.1 He was Governor Director of Cantrell and Cochrane Ltd, mineral and aerated water manufacturers.1 He was appointed Knight in 1887.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1897.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cavan in 1899.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the City of Dublin.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cavan.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.1 He held the office of Alderman of Dublin.1 He was created 1st Baronet Cochrane, of Woodbrook, Old Connaught, Bray, co. Margaret Gilchrist was the daughter of Richard Gilchrist.2 She married Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt., son of William Cochrane and Sarah McQuade, on 10 May 1865.1 She died on 7 December 1901.1

Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 September 1873.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist.2 He married, firstly, Ethel Amy Davis, daughter of John Henry Davis, on 8 June 1898.1 He and Ethel Amy Davis were divorced in 1910.1 He married, secondly, Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher, daughter of Erwin Albert Schumacher, on 12 September 1911.1 He and Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher were divorced in 1933.1 He married, thirdly, Flora Sandstrom, daughter of Fritz Arnold Sandstrom, on 23 February 1933.1 He and Flora Sandstrom were divorced in 1948.1 He married, fourthly, Margaret Eileen Cooper Fowler, daughter of John Wilfred Fowler, on 26 August 1948.1 He died on 6 March 1952 at age 78.1
