George Allardice Riddell, 1st and last Baron Riddell was born on 25 May 1865 at London, England.1,2 He was the son of James Riddell and Isabel Young.1 He married Annie Molison Allardice, daughter of David William Allardice and Alice Riddell, on 2 November 1900.1 He died on 5 December 1934 at age 69, without issue.1
He was a practising solicitor between 1888 and 1903.1 He was chairman of George Newnes Ltd., C. Arthur Pearson Ltd. and News of the World Ltd.1 He was a director of Country Life Ltd., Newnes and Pearson Printing Company Ltd. and W. H. Collingridge and Company Ltd.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1909.1 He was a liaision officer between the Government and the Press between 1914 and 1918.1 He was created 1st Baronet Riddell [U.K.] on 31 January 1918.1 He was created 1st Baron Riddell, of Walton Heath, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 28 January 1920.1 He wrote the book Some Things That Matter, published 1922.1 He wrote the book More Things that Matter, published 1925.1 He wrote the book Dame Louisa Aldrich-Blake, published 1926.1 He wrote the book Looking Round, published 1928.1 He wrote the book Medico-Legal Problems, published 1929.1 He wrote the book Lord Riddell's War Diary, 1914-18, published 1933.1 He wrote the book Lord Riddell's Intimate Diary of the Peace Conference and After, published 1933.1 On his death, his title became extinct.1

Annie Molison Allardice is the daughter of David William Allardice and Alice Riddell.1,2 She married George Allardice Riddell, 1st and last Baron Riddell, son of James Riddell and Isabel Young, on 2 November 1900.1
From 2 November 1900, her married name became Riddell.1 After her marriage, Annie Molison Allardice was styled as Baroness Riddell on 28 January 1920.

Sir William Robinson, 1st Bt. was born in 1655.1 He was the son of Thomas Robinson and Elizabeth Tancred.1 He married Mary Aislabie, daughter of George Aislabie, on 8 September 1699 in a although this date is more probably 8 September 1679, based on the birth dates of their sons marriage.1
He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1689.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Allerton between 1689 and 1695.1 He was created 1st Baronet Robinson, of Newby, co. York [England] on 13 February 1689/90.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of York between 1698 and 1722.1
