Captain Francis Evelyn Massy-Dawson was born on 9 September 1872.1 He was the son of Francis Staunton Staunton-Massy and Julia Eliza Gilmour.2 He married, firstly, Emily Banner Clough Somerset-Johnstone, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Somerset James Somerset-Johnstone and Elizabeth Ann Johnson, in 1922.1 He married, secondly, Mary Caroline Taylor, daughter of Herbert Taylor, on 14 April 1928.1 He died on 12 February 1939 at age 66.1 He died on 12 February 1939 at age 66.3

Lt.-Cdr. Somerset James Somerset-Johnstone was born on 29 August 1846.2 He is the son of Lt.-Gen. Montague Cholmeley Johnstone and Leonora Louisa Somerset.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Ann Johnson, daughter of William Jackson Johnson, in January 1877.2 He married, secondly, Isabel Ann Mappin, daughter of Joseph Charles Mappin, in 1887.2 He and Isabel Ann Mappin were divorced in 1900 at U.S.A.2 He married, thirdly, Louisa Hodder in 1900.2 He and Louisa Hodder were divorced in 1910.2 He died on 5 September 1942 at age 96.2

Somerset James Somerset-Johnstone and Elizabeth Ann Johnson.2 She married, firstly, Captain Herbert Algernon Adam, son of Reverend Benjamin William Adams and Louisa Jane Adams, on 21 December 1898.1 She married, secondly, Captain Francis Evelyn Massy-Dawson, son of Francis Staunton Staunton-Massy and Julia Eliza Gilmour, in 1922.3 She died on 1 February 1928.3
