Isabel Fane was born on 7 April 1864.2 She was the daughter of Major John Augustus Fane and Eleanor Thornhill.3,2 She married Maj.-Gen. Francis High Plowden, son of Charles Joseph Plowden and Eliza Bryan, on 14 April 1885.1 She died on 27 February 1914 at age 49.1
