Robert Clements was born in 1664.2 He was the son of Daniel Clements and Elizabeth (?)1 He married Elizabeth Sandford, daughter of General Theophilus Sandford.1 He died in 1722.2

Maj.-Gen. Sir Percival Otway Hambro was born on 10 December 1870.1 He was the son of Percival Lewis Hambro and Grace Otway Mayne.2 He married Marjorie Henrietta Bingham, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Edmund George Henry Bingham, on 2 August 1911.1 He died on 25 November 1931 at age 60.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 15th Hussars.1 He was awarded the Order of Aviz of Portugal.1 He was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of Russia.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.1 He was awarded the Order of Agricultural Merit of France.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.1 He fought in the Mesopotamia Campaign between 1920 and 1921.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1921.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1925.1 He retired from the military in 1931.1
