Vice-Admiral Sir Cecil Ponsonby Talbot was born on 31 August 1884.1 He was the son of Major Francis Arthur Bouverie Talbot and Alice Mary Beatrice Lawford.1 He married Bridget Bradshaw, daughter of Robert Bateson Dixon Bradshaw and Bridget Fisher, on 14 August 1912.1 He died on 17 March 1970 at age 85.1
He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.1 He was educated at H.M.S.
