     W/Cdr. Norman Maxwell Boffee is the son of Charles Boffee.2 He married Iris Leslie Pepys, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Guy Leslie Pepys and Olive Grace Starkey, on 6 June 1953.1
     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)1
