Charlotte Mary Temple Black is the daughter of Michael Donald Gordon Black and Priscilla Holt.1 She married Lord Frederick William Patrick Conyngham, son of Frederick William Henry Francis Conyngham, 7th Marquess Conyngham and Eileen Wren Newsam, in 1990.1 She and Lord Frederick William Patrick Conyngham were divorced in June 1995.1
From 1990, her married name became Conyngham.1 In 1997 she unsuccessfully contested the seat of Kirkcaldy, for the Conservatives.1
