     Henry Conyngham, 1st and last Earl Conynham of Mount Charles was born posthumously in 1705.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Henry Conyngham and Mary Williams.¹ He married Ellen Merrett, daughter of Solomon Merrett and Rebecca Savage, in December 1744.¹ He died on 3 April 1781 at Bath, Somerset, England^G, without issue.¹ He was buried at Slane, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in April 1781.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Killybegs [Ireland] between 1727 and 1753.¹ He held the office of Governor of County Donegal in 1746.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Tiverton between 1747 and 1754.¹ He held the office of Vice-Admiral of Ulster between 1748 and 1779.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 27 May 1748.¹ He was created 1st Baron Conyngham of Mount Charles, co. Donegal [Ireland] on 3 October 1753.¹ He held the office of Governor of County Londonderry in 1754.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Sandwich between 1756 and 1774.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Conyngham, in Ireland [Ireland] on 20 July 1756.¹ He was created 1st Baron Conyngham of Mount Charles, co. Donegal [Ireland] on 4 January 1781, with a special remainder to his nephew, Francis Pierpoint Burton.¹ He was created 1st Earl Conyngham of Mount Charles, co. Donegal [Ireland] on 4 January 1781.¹ On his death, all of his titles except the Barony of Conyngham of Mount Charles [1781] became extinct.¹

     William Conyngham was born before 1705.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Henry Conyngham and Mary Williams.¹ He died on 26 October 1738.¹

     Rt. Hon. William Conyngham was born circa 1733.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Francis Burton and Mary Conyngham.¹ He died on 31 May 1796, unmarried.¹
     He was given the name of William Burton at birth.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³ He held the office of Teller of the Exchequer.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland]³ On 3 May 1781 his name was legally changed to William Conyngham by Royal Licence, after inheriting theCounty Donegal and Slane estates of his uncle, 1st Earl of Conyngham.^1,3

     Elizabeth Clements was born on 18 August 1731.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Nathaniel Clements and Hannah Gore.¹ She married Francis Pierpoint Conyngham, 2nd Baron Conyngham of Mount Charles, son of Rt. Hon. Francis Burton and Mary Conyngham, on 19 March 1750.¹ She died on 31 October 1814 at age 83 at Ramsgate, Kent, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in November 1814.¹
     From 19 March 1750, her married name became Conyngham.¹ After her marriage, Elizabeth Clements was styled as Baroness Conyngham of Mount Charles on 3 April 1781.

     Hon. Sir Francis Nathaniel Pierpoint Burton Conyngham was born on 26 December 1766 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Francis Pierpoint Conyngham, 2nd Baron Conyngham of Mount Charles and Elizabeth Clements.¹ He married Hon. Valentina Letitia Lawless, daughter of Nicholas Lawless, 1st Baron Cloncurry and Margaret Browne, on 4 June 1801.² He died on 27 January 1832 at age 65.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Clare Militia.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Clare between 1790 and 1827.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.)¹ He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Lower Canada between 1808 and 1825.¹

     Elizabeth Butler is the daughter of William Butler.¹ She married Joseph Denison.¹
     Her married name became Denison.¹
