     Her married name became de Clifton.3 From after 1388, her married name became Bensted.2

     Constantine de Clifton, 2nd Lord Clifton was born circa 1372.1 He was the son of John de Clifton, 1st Lord Clifton and Elizabeth de Cromwell.1 He married Margaret Howard, daughter of Sir John Howard and Margaret Plaiz, after February 1389/90.1 He died in 1395.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Clifton [E., 1376] on 10 August 1388.1 In 1393 he had livery of his lands.1

     Margaret Howard was the daughter of Sir John Howard and Margaret Plaiz.1 She married, firstly, Constantine de Clifton, 2nd Lord Clifton, son of John de Clifton, 1st Lord Clifton and Elizabeth de Cromwell, after February 1389/90.1 She married, secondly, Sir Gilbert Talbot before 1397.1 She died on 25 March 1433.1 She was buried at Blackfriars, Norwich, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
     From after February 1389/90, her married name became de Clifton.1 From before 1397, her married name became Talbot.1
