Sir John Castleton, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 4 August 1644 at Sturston, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Castleton, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Morse.1 He married Bridget Read, daughter of Thomas Read and Bridget Crofts, on 8 November 1677 at Bardwell, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He died circa June 1705, without issue.1 He was buried on 14 June 1705 at Sturston, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in March 1706.1
He was educated at Eye School, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Botesdale School, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, on 29 June 1661.1 He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 2 May 1662.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Castleton, of St. Edmondsbury, co.
