     Captain John Murray Anderson was the son of Colonel Ian Forrest Anderson and Mona Kathleen Daintry.2 He married Lady Gillian Mary Drummond, daughter of James Eric Drummond, 16th Earl of Perth and Hon. Angela Mary Constable-Maxwell, on 28 January 1946.1 He died in 1991.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1
