     Anthony Frederic Lewis Thesiger was born on 30 June 1906.1 He was the son of Hon. Percy Mansfield Thesiger and Katherine Frances Wallace.2 He married Virginia Margaret Graham, daughter of Captain Harry Jocelyn Clive Graham, on 9 March 1939.1 He died on 10 August 1969 at age 63, without issue.1

     Virginia Margaret Graham is the daughter of Captain Harry Jocelyn Clive Graham.2 She married Anthony Frederic Lewis Thesiger, son of Hon. Percy Mansfield Thesiger and Katherine Frances Wallace, on 9 March 1939.1
     From 9 March 1939, her married name became Thesiger.1

Emily Frances Wood1

     Emily Frances Wood was the daughter of General Sir William Wood and Charlotte Dix.1 She married Alfred Bury, 5th Earl of Charleville, son of Charles William Bury, 2nd Earl of Charleville and Harriet Charlotte Beaujolais Campbell, on 20 June 1854 at The Cathedral, BarbadosG.1 She died on 19 April 1911 at Geneva, SwitzerlandG.1
     She was Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)2 She was Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)2 From 20 June 1854, her married name became Bury.1 After her marriage, Emily Frances Wood was styled as Countess of Charleville on 3 November 1874.

     He was educated between 1923 and 1928 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He was educated between 1929 and 1933 at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1941.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)2 He wrote the book Arabian Sands, published 1959.3 He wrote the book The Marsh Arabs, published 1964.3 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1968.3 He was an explorer.3 He wrote the book Desert, Marsh and Mountain, published 1979.3

     Colonel Brian Peirson Doughty-Wylie was born on 4 October 1911.1 He was the son of Hon. Wilfred Gilbert Thesiger and Kathleen Mary Vigors.2 He married Diana de Hoghton, daughter of Major Vere de Hoghton and Alice Dorothy Patience Hollins, on 6 July 1937.1 He died on 1 January 1982 at age 70.1,3
     He was given the name of Brian Peirson Thesiger at birth.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 On 26 September 1933 his name was legally changed to Brian Peirson Doughty-Wylie by Deed Poll.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Welsh Fusliers.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel (Intelligence) in 1956 in the HQ 2 British Corps, Suez.1 He retired from the military in 1957, with the rank of Honorary Colonel.1

     Major Vere de Hoghton was born on 6 March 1882.1 He was the son of Sir James de Hoghton, 11th Bt. and Aimee Jean Grove.1 He married Alice Dorothy Patience Hollins, daughter of Sir Frank Hollins, 1st Bt. and Dora Emily Susan Cox, on 9 November 1911.1 He died in October 1915 at age 33 at FranceG, killed in action.1
     He was Adjutant of the 5th Battalion between 1913 and 1915.1 He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Major in the Lincolnshire Regiment.1
