     Commander Edwin Toby Caulfeild was born on 14 January 1793.1 He was the son of Captain Wade Toby Caulfeild and Anne Cope.2 He married, firstly, Frances Sally Irwin, daughter of Eyles Irwin, in January 1818.1 He married, secondly, Alicia Almeria Widdrington, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir David Latimer Tinling Widdrington, on 9 May 1846.1 He died on 24 February 1881 at age 88.1
     He lived at Beckford House, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He lived at Raheenduff, County Laois, IrelandG.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
