     Colonel Nicholas Chaytor was born in 1608 at Croft, Yorkshire, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Chaytor and Jane Tempest.3,2 He married Anne Lambton, daughter of William Lambton.1 He died on 10 February 1655 at Butterby, County Durham, England.1,2

Henry Chaytor1

     Henry Chaytor was born in April 1648 at Butterby, County Durham, England.1 He was the son of Colonel Nicholas Chaytor and Anne Lambton.2,1 He was baptised on 24 May 1648.3 He married Isobel Marley, daughter of Reverend Cuthbert Marley and Anne Leamon, on 11 October 1685 at Hurworth, County Durham, England.3 He died on 4 May 1719 at age 71.1
     He was admitted to Middle Temple.3 He lived at Hurworth, County Durham, England.3

Maj.-Gen. William Caulfeild, 2nd Viscount Charlemont1

     Maj.-Gen. William Caulfeild, 2nd Viscount Charlemont was born circa 1655.2 He was the son of William Caulfeild, 1st Viscount Charlemont and Hon. Sarah Moore.2 He married Anne Margetson, daughter of Most Rev. Dr. James Margetson, on 11 July 1678.2 He died on 21 July 1726 at College Green, IrelandG.3 He was buried on 26 July 1726 at Armagh, County Armagh, IrelandG.3
     He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Charlemont, co. Armagh [I., 1665] circa April 1671.2 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Caulfeild, Baron of Charlemont, co. Armagh [I., 1620] circa April 1671. He was a Williamite in post-Glorious Revolution Ireland, and was accordingly attainted by King James II's first Parliament in May 1689.2 He was admitted to King's Inns, Dublin on 9 June 1697.3 In 1701 he was restored by King William III.2 He was Colonel of the Lord Charlemont's Regiment of Foot (36th Foot) between 1701 and 1706.3 He held the office of Governor of Fort Charlemont.2 He fought in the Capture of Barcelona in 1705.3 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1705.3 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1708.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 5 June 1726.3
