Captain James Ian Robertson was born on 8 March 1902 at Folkstone, Kent, England.2 He was the son of James Peter Robertson.3 He married Olive Dorothea Carew, daughter of Reverend Walter Gawen Carew and Blanche Gwendolen Llewellyn, on 27 October 1928 at St. Mary's Church, Silverton, Devon, England.1,2 He died in 1976 at Hampshire, England.2
