James Cambell was born circa 1615.1 He was the son of Robert Cambell and Alice Willington.1,2 He married Hon. Theophila Mohun, daughter of John Mohun, 1st Lord Mohun of Okehampton and Cordelia Stanhope, on 8 November 1638. He died in 1659.1

Sir Thomas Cambell, 1st Bt. was born circa 1620.2 He was the son of Robert Cambell and Alice Willington.1,2 He married, firstly, Hester Cornellis, daughter of Nicholas Cornellis, on 6 July 1641 at St. Peter le Poor, London, EnglandG.2 He married, secondly, Mary Fanshawe, daughter of Thomas Fanshawe, 1st Viscount Fanshawe of Dromore and Elizabeth Cokayne, before 1662.2 He died circa August 1665.3 He was buried on 2 September 1665 at Barking, Essex, EnglandG.3 His will (dated 31 Aug 1665) was proven (by probate) in January 1665/66.3
He was created 1st Baronet Cambell, of Clay Hall [in Barking], co. Essex [England] on 12 February 1663/64.2
