     Edward Adolphus Ferdinand St. Maur, Earl St. Maur was born on 17 July 1835.¹ He was the son of Edward Adolphus St. Maur, 12th Duke of Somerset and Jane Georgiana Sheridan.^1,2 He died on 30 September 1869 at age 34 at Dover Street, London, England^G, unmarried.¹
     Edward Adolphus Ferdinand St. Maur, Earl St. Maur usually went by his middle name of Ferdinand.² He was styled as Earl St. Maur between 1863 and 1869.¹

     William James Hope Johnstone was born on 25 July 1855.¹ He was the son of Captain George Gordon Hope Johnstone and Adelaide Mary Wentworth Sinclair.¹ He married Emily Mary Baillie, daughter of Captain Edward Baillie, on 17 February 1877.¹ He died on 9 August 1919 at age 64.¹

     Sir Tatton Sykes, 5th Bt. was born on 13 March 1826.² He was the son of Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Bt. and Mary Anne Foulis.³ He married Christina Anne Jessica Cavendish-Bentinck, daughter of Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Prudentia Penelope Leslie, on 3 August 1874.² He died on 4 May 1913 at age 87.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the East Riding, Yorkshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.² He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Sykes, of Sledmere, co. Yorks [G.B., 1783] on 21 March 1863.² He held the office of High Sheriff of the East Riding, Yorkshire in 1869.² On 23 May 1911 he demolished the orangery at Sledmere (which burnt down but which he rebuilt as before) with all the estate flowers pulled up.²

     John Arthur James was born on 24 February 1853.² He was the son of Daniel James and Sophia Hitchcock.² He married Mary Venetia Cavendish-Bentinck, daughter of Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Prudentia Penelope Leslie, on 7 December 1885.¹ He died on 30 April 1917 at age 64, without issue.¹
     He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He lived at Coton House, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Lucy Joan Cavendish-Bentinck was the daughter of William George Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Ruth Mary St. Maur.¹ She married Sir Reginald Hervey Hoare, son of Charles Hoare and Katherine Hervey, on 9 November 1922.¹ She died in 1971.²
     From 9 November 1922, her married name became Hoare.²
