Lord Edward Charles Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 3 March 1744.1 He was the son of William Bentinck, 2nd Duke of Portland and Lady Margaret Cavendish Harley.1 He married Elizabeth Cumberland, daughter of Richard Cumberland and Elizabeth Ridge, on 28 December 1782.1 He died on 8 October 1819 at age 75.1

Arthur Acheson, 1st Earl of Gosford was born circa 1742 at Market Hill, County Armagh, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Archibald Acheson, 1st Viscount Gosford of Market Hill and Mary Richardson.1 He married Millicent Pole, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Edward Pole and Olivia Walsh, on 26 March 1774 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 14 January 1807 at Pulteney Street, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.2
He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Old Leighlin between 1783 and 1790.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Gosford of Market Hill, co. Armagh [I., 1776] on 5 September 1790.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Gosford of Market Hill, co. Armagh [I., 1785] on 5 September 1790.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Acheson, of Market Hill [in Clonekearney], co. Armagh [N.S., 1628] on 5 September 1790.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1793.1 He was created 1st Earl of Gosford [Ireland] on 1 February 1806.1

Mildred Marion Bowes-Lyon, daughter of Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Frances Dora Smith, on 1 July 1890.3 He married, secondly, Hyacinth Mary Cavendish-Bentinck, daughter of Reverend Charles William Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Caroline Louisa Burnaby, in 1901.1 He died on 16 October 1925 at age 64 at Livorno, Italy.2
