     Thomas Broughton was the son of Richard Broughton and Catharine Aston.1 He married Mary Roos, daughter of Francis Roos.1 He died after 1583.1

     Francis Cavendish was born in 1618.2 He was the son of Henry Cavendish and Bridget Willoughby.2 He married, secondly, Dorothy Broughton, daughter of Thomas Broughton and Frances Bagot.1 He married, firstly, Dorothy Bullock, daughter of John Bullock, on 13 November 1642.2 He died on 17 June 1650.2
     He lived at Doveridge, Derbyshire, EnglandG.2
