     Maud Emily Hammersley was the daughter of Hugh Hammersley.2 She married Sir Henry William Duff Gordon, 6th Bt., son of Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon and Anna Maria Antrobus, on 26 October 1891.1 She died on 5 May 1951.1
     From 26 October 1891, her married name became Duff Gordon.3

     She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 From 18 December 1975, her married name became Duff Gordon.1

     Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon was born on 3 March 1897.2 He was the son of Sir Henry William Duff Gordon, 6th Bt. and Maud Emily Hammersley.3 He died on 3 September 1916 at age 19 at Picardie, FranceG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Hereford Regiment and Machine Gun Corps.2 He fought in the First World War.1

Sir Cosmo Edmund Duff Gordon, 5th Bt.1

     Sir Cosmo Edmund Duff Gordon, 5th Bt. was born on 22 July 1862.2 He was the son of Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon and Anna Maria Antrobus.2 He married Lucy Christiana Wallace Sutherland, daughter of Douglas Sutherland, on 24 May 1900 at Venice, Italy.2,3 He died on 20 April 1931 at age 68 at South Kensington, London, England, without issue.2,3
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Duff, of Halkin, co. Ayr [U.K., 1813] on 5 May 1896.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kincardineshire.2 He was awarded the Olympic Silver Medal in 1906 for fencing.3 In 1912 he and his wife survived the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic.4

She was the daughter of Douglas Sutherland.1 She married, firstly, James Stewart Wallace before 1900.2 She married, secondly, Sir Cosmo Edmund Duff Gordon, 5th Bt., son of Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon and Anna Maria Antrobus, on 24 May 1900 at Venice, Italy.2,3 She died on 20 April 1935 at age 71.2
     From before 1900, her married name became Wallace.2 From 24 May 1900, her married name became Duff Gordon. On 14 April 1912 a survivor of R.M.S. Titanic.
