     Janet Brodie was the daughter of Alexander Brodie, 2nd of Lethen and Elizabeth Craig.2,3 She married Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant, son of James Grant, 7th of Freuchie and Lady Mary Stuart, on 16 December 1671.1,4 A contract for the marriage of Janet Brodie and Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant was signed on 20 December 1671.5 She died in 1697.3
     She lived at Lethen, ScotlandG.1 From 16 December 1671, her married name became Grant.1
