Sir William Dundas of Kincavel was born in 1637.2 He was the son of William Dundas and Catherine Murray.3 He married Margaret Edmonston, daughter of unknown Edmonston of Ednam.3 He died in 1700.2
He was a practising Advocate on 7 February 1665.4

Sir Andrew George Buchanan, 5th Bt. was born on 21 July 1937.1 He is the son of Major Sir Charles James Buchanan, 4th Bt. and Barbara Helen Stanley. He married Belinda Jane Virginia Maclean, daughter of Donald Colquhoun Maclean, on 26 April 1966.1
