He was the son of George Housman Thomas.1 He married, firstly, Sybil Evelyn de Vere Beauclerk, daughter of William Arthur Stopford de Vere Beauclerk and Elizabeth Susan James, on 15 March 1902.1 He married, secondly, Harriet Ethel Pease in 1906 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England.2 He died on 22 December 1944 at age 76 at Lyme Regis Hospital, Lyme Regis, Dorset, England.2
     He lived at Lerryn, Cornwall, EnglandG.1

     Diana Lily de Vere Beauclerk was born on 27 December 1878.1 She was the daughter of William Arthur Stopford de Vere Beauclerk and Elizabeth Susan James.1 She married Christian Hugh Septimus James, son of Thomas James and Margaret Bernard Collinson, on 4 January 1912.1 She died on 30 January 1954 at age 75, without issue.1
     Her married name became James. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1
