     Reverend Michael Bruce is the son of Patrick Bruce. He married Jean Bruce, daughter of Robert Bruce, 2nd of Kinnaird and Margaret Menteith, in 1659.¹

     Robert Bruce, 2nd of Kinnaird was the son of Reverend Robert Bruce, 1st of Kinnaird and Martha Douglas.² He married Margaret Menteith, daughter of William Menteith, 11th of Kerse and Margaret Hepburn.² He died on 14 June 1645 at Naseby, England^G, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Naseby on 14 June 1645.¹

     Jean Bruce is the daughter of Robert Bruce, 2nd of Kinnaird and Margaret Menteith.² She married Reverend Michael Bruce, son of Patrick Bruce, in 1659.¹
