Robert Cathcart Bruce1

     Robert Cathcart Bruce was born on 8 September 1859.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Alexander James Bruce and Marianne Thomas.1 He married Grizelda Wilson Rodger, daughter of Reverend Alexander Rodger, on 7 November 1882.1 He died on 24 November 1955 at age 96.1
     He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1

     Grizelda Wilson Rodger was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Rodger.1 She married Robert Cathcart Bruce, son of Maj.-Gen. Alexander James Bruce and Marianne Thomas, on 7 November 1882.1 She died on 24 August 1940.1
     From 7 November 1882, her married name became Bruce.

Major Alexander Cathcart Bruce1

     Major Alexander Cathcart Bruce was born on 8 December 1894.1 He was the son of Robert Cathcart Bruce and Grizelda Wilson Rodger.1 He married Betty Aitken, daughter of John Malcolm Aitken, on 18 April 1958.1 He died in September 1966 at age 71, without issue.1
     He was educated at Bradfield School, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Highland Light Infantry.1 He was awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal in 1935.1 He was in the Minister of Home Security between 1937 and 1943.1 He was British Council Representative to Malta between 1945 and 1950.1 He was Director of Training and Operations of Civil Defence between 1950 and 1958 at British Columbia, CanadaG.1

     From before 1958, her married name became Grayburn.1 From 18 September 1958, her married name became Bruce.

     He was educated at Bradfield School, EnglandG.1 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, in France and Belgium.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry.1
