     On 21 March 1637 he inherited the estates of Clater Cote, Croperdy (Oxfordshire), Boddington (Northamptonshire), and Broadlow Ash (Derbyshire) from his mother.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Boothby, of Clate Clote, co. Oxford [England] on 5 November 1644, although the letters patent did not pass the Great Seal.¹ His last will was dated 2 September 1648.
