     Roberta Mary Annabel Becher was born on 23 March 1944 at Warescot Nursing Home^G.² She is the daughter of Henry Becher and Frances Margaret Rosemary Bell.^3,2 She married Dr. Andrew Allardice MacMillan, son of General Sir Gordon Holmes Alexander MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap and Marian Blakiston-Houston, on 1 January 1972.¹
     From 1 January 1972, her married name became MacMillan.¹

     Henry Becher was born in 1907 at Edmonton, London, England^G.² He was the son of Henry Becher and Emily Mary Lydia Neil.² He married Frances Margaret Rosemary Bell on 3 February 1943 at St. Marylebone Parish Church, St. Marylebone, London, England^G.² He died on 18 September 1947, at sea.²
