     Laurie Ida Quintal was born in 1891 at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹ She was the daughter of Oliver Macy Quintal and Jemima Buffett.¹ She married Henry Wentworth Buffett, son of Henry Seymour Buffett and Marianne Selina Buffett, in 1918 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died in 1921.¹
     From 1918, her married name became Buffett.¹

     Henry Wentworth Buffett was born on 3 November 1883 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Henry Seymour Buffett and Marianne Selina Buffett.¹ He married Laurie Ida Quintal, daughter of Oliver Macy Quintal and Jemima Buffett, in 1918 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He died in 1965.¹

     Young Oliver Quintal was born circa 1893 at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹ He was the son of Oliver Macy Quintal and Jemima Buffett.¹ He died circa 1902.¹

     Edward Quintal was born on 2 June 1844 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of William Quintal and Maria Christian.¹ He died on 24 March 1855 at age 10 at Pitcairn Island^G, from tetanus.¹
     While playing, he pierced his foot with a barbed arrow (used for taking fish from holes in rocks), and within 2 days, he had died of tetatus. His uncle, George Nobbs, recalled that although he was in intense pain, and he knew he was dying, he expressed no fear of death, and died saying, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.¹'
