     Reverend Robert Bullock-Marsham was born on 17 June 1786.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Jacob Marsham and Amelia Frances Bullock.2 He married Janet Dewar, daughter of Maj.-Gen. David Dewar and Mary Cutler, on 27 March 1828 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He died on 27 December 1880 at age 94.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)1 He was Warden at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He lived at Caversfield, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

     Janet Dewar was born on 30 December 1793.3 She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. David Dewar and Mary Cutler.1,3 She married, firstly, Sir John Carmichael-Anstruther, 5th and 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 4th and 1st Bt. and Maria Isabella Brice, on 11 January 1817.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Robert Bullock-Marsham, son of Rev. Hon. Jacob Marsham and Amelia Frances Bullock, on 27 March 1828 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 She was also reported to have been married on 11 February 1817.3 She died on 10 November 1881 at age 87 at Caversfield, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
     From 11 January 1817, her married name became Carmichael-Anstruther. From 27 March 1828, her married name became Bullock-Marsham.

     Sir John Carmichael-Anstruther, 5th and 2nd Bt. was born on 1 June 1785 at Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 4th and 1st Bt. and Maria Isabella Brice.1 He was baptised on 1 July 1785 at St. George's Church, Bloomsbury, London, EnglandG.1 He married Janet Dewar, daughter of Maj.-Gen. David Dewar and Mary Cutler, on 11 January 1817.1 He was also reported to have been married on 11 February 1817.2 He died on 28 January 1818 at age 32.1
     He was given the name of John Anstruther of that Ilk at birth.1 He was educated between 1799 and 1802 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 21 October 1803.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1806.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1806 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter Burghs between 1811 and 1818.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Anstruther, of Fort William, Bengal [G.B., 1798] on 26 January 1811.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Anstruther, of Anstruther and of Elie House, co. Fife [N.S., 1700] on 26 January 1811, and from 1817 'of Carmichael and Westraw, co. Lanark.1' On 18 April 1817 he inherited the estates of Carmichael and Westraw, Lanarkshire, on the death of his cousin, Andrew Carmichael, 6th Earl of Hyndford.1 In 1817 his name was legally changed to John Carmichael-Anstruther.1

     He held the office of Canon of Windsor.1 He held the office of Prebendary of Rochester and Wells.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)2

     Robert Marsham, 2nd Baron of Romney was born on 22 August 1712.1 He was the son of Robert Marsham, 1st Baron of Romney and Elizabeth Shovell.1 He married Priscilla Pym, daughter of Charles Pym, on 8 June 1742.1 He died on 16 November 1793 at age 81.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was president of the Marine Society between 1756 and 1793.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1757.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1759 in the West Kent Militia.1 He was president of the Society of Arts between 1761 and 1793.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1762.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Marsham, of Whorn's Place, Cuxton, Kent [E., 1663] on 25 September 1782.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron of Romney, co. Kent [G.B., 1716] on 25 September 1782.1
