     Otto I Landgraf von Hessen was born in 1272.2 He was the son of Heinrich I Landgraf von Hessen and Adelheid von Braunschweig-Lüneburg.1,2 He married Adelheid Gräfin von Ravensburg, daughter of Otto III Graf von Ravensburg, in 1297.2 He died in 1328.1
     He succeeded as the Landgraf von Hessen in 1308.1

     Jean Arbuthnott was the daughter of Alexander Arbuthnott and Margaret Ochterlony.1 A contract for the marriage of Jean Arbuthnott and John Arbuthnott, 6th Viscount of Arbuthnott was signed on 4 July 1749.1 She died on 18 March 1786.1
     After her marriage, Jean Arbuthnott was styled as Viscountess of Arbuthnott on 8 May 1756.

     Ludwig II Landgraf von Hessen was born in 1438.2 He was the son of Ludwig I Landgraf von Hessen and Anne von Sachsen.1,2 He married Mathilda von Württemberg, daughter of Ludwig I Graf von Württemberg and Matilde Pfalzgräfin von der Pfalz, in 1454.2 He died in 1471.2
     Ludwig II Landgraf von Hessen also went by the nick-name of Ludwig 'the Frank'.2 He succeeded as the Landgraf von Unter-Hessen in 1458.1

     Guillaume II Seigneur de Dampierre Seigneur de St. Dizier was born in 1200.2,1 He was the son of Guy II de Dampierre, Seigneur de Dampierre and Mathilde I, Dame de Bourbon.1 He married Marguerite Comtesse de Hainaut Gravin van Vlaanderen, daughter of Baudouin VI (IX) Comte de Hainaut Emperor of Constantinople and Marie de Blois-Champagne, in 1223. He died on 3 September 1231.1
     He gained the title of Comte de Flandre.

     John Arbuthnott, 7th Viscount of Arbuthnott was baptised on 25 October 1754.1 He was the son of John Arbuthnott, 6th Viscount of Arbuthnott and Jean Arbuthnott.1 He married Isabella Graham, daughter of William Graham, on 27 December 1775.1 He died on 27 February 1800 at age 45 at Queen Street, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Viscount of Arbuthnott, of co. Kincardine [S., 1641] on 20 April 1791.1 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Inverbervie, of co. Kincardine [S., 1641] on 20 April 1791.1

     Isabella Graham was the daughter of William Graham.1 She married John Arbuthnott, 7th Viscount of Arbuthnott, son of John Arbuthnott, 6th Viscount of Arbuthnott and Jean Arbuthnott, on 27 December 1775.1 She died on 4 March 1818 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1
     From 27 December 1775, her married name became Arbuthnott.1 She succeeded as the Viscountess of Arbuthnott on 20 April 1791.
