     George Young was born circa 1797 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 He was the son of Edward Young and Toofaiti (?)1 He married Hannah Adams, daughter of John Adams and Vahineatua (?), in 1821 at Pitcairn IslandG.2 He died on 4 May 1831 at TahitiG.2

     Major Alfred Davis Welch was the son of Colonel William Davis Welch.1 He married Marjory Francis Blake, daughter of Sir Francis Douglas Blake, 1st Bt. and Selina Colquhoun Burns, on 24 December 1921.1 He died on 21 May 1960.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Marine Light Infantry.1

     Frederick Lorenzo Fisher Young was born on 27 January 1846 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 He was the son of Simon Young and Mary Buffett Christian.1 He died on 24 August 1864 at age 18 at Santa Cruz Island, Solomon IslandsG, wounded by arrows in an uprising and died of lockjaw.1 He was buried at Port Petterson, Solomon Islands.
     He was a mission worker.1 He was serving with George Nobbs and Bishop Patteson at the Melanesian Mission in 1864 at Santa Cruz Island, Solomon IslandsG.1

Eliza Coffin Palmer Young1

     Eliza Coffin Palmer Young was born on 2 November 1847 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 She was the daughter of Simon Young and Mary Buffett Christian.1 She married James Russell McCoy, son of Matthew McCoy and Margaret Christian, on 25 December 1864 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 She died on 26 August 1893 at age 45 at Pitcairn IslandG, in the typhus epidemic.1
     In 1864 she was among the second wave of returnees from Norfolk to Pitcairn.1 From 25 December 1864, her married name became McCoy.1

     James Russell McCoy was born on 4 September 1845 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 He was the son of Matthew McCoy and Margaret Christian.1 He married Eliza Coffin Palmer Young, daughter of Simon Young and Mary Buffett Christian, on 25 December 1864 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 He died on 14 February 1924 at age 78, from influenza.2 He was buried on 14 February 1924 at Pitcairn IslandG.1
     James Russell McCoy also went by the nick-name of 'Big Hunty'. In 1859 he was among the first wave of returnees from Norfolk to Pitcairn.1 He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1870 and 1872.3 In 1878 he started a store on Pitcairn with goods left by Captain Scott of the vessel, Venus.1 He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1878 and 1879.3 He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island in 1883.3 He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1886 and 1889.3 He held the office of President of the Council of Pitcairn Island between 1893 and 1896.3 He held the office of President of the Council of Pitcairn Island between 1898 and 1904.3 He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1905 and 1906.3
