     Joan Eleanor Carr was the daughter of William Henry Carr and Lillian Marie White.2,1 She married Charles Garrett Ponsonby Moore, 11th Earl of Drogheda, son of Henry Charles Ponsonby Moore, 10th Earl of Drogheda and Kathleen Pelham-Burn, on 16 May 1935.1 She died on 16 December 1989.1
     From 16 May 1935, her married name became Moore.2 After her marriage, Joan Eleanor Carr was styled as Countess of Drogheda on 22 November 1957.

     Charles Garrett Ponsonby Moore, 11th Earl of Drogheda was born on 23 April 1910.1 He was the son of Henry Charles Ponsonby Moore, 10th Earl of Drogheda and Kathleen Pelham-Burn.1 He married Joan Eleanor Carr, daughter of William Henry Carr and Lillian Marie White, on 16 May 1935.1 He died in 1989.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1940 in the Royal Artillery, Territorial Army.1 He was on the Staff of the Ministry of Production between 1942 and 1945.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.1 He was managing director of The Financial Times between 1946 and 1972.1 He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Drogheda [I., 1661] on 22 November 1957.1 He succeeded as the 13th Viscount Moore of Drogheda [I., 1622] on 22 November 1957.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baron Moore of Mellefont, co.      Henry Dermot Ponsonby Moore, 12th Earl of Drogheda was born on 14 January 1937.1 He is the son of Charles Garrett Ponsonby Moore, 11th Earl of Drogheda and Joan Eleanor Carr.2,1 He married, firstly, Eliza Lambert Lloyd, daughter of Stacy Barcroft Lloyd, Jr. and Rachel Lowe Lambert, on 15 May 1968.1 He and Eliza Lambert Lloyd were divorced in 1972.1 He married, secondly, Alexandra Nicolette Henderson, daughter of Sir John Nicholas Henderson and Mary Barber Cawadias, on 9 December 1978.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was styled as Viscount Moore between 1957 and 1989. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1960 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the The Life Guards.1 He was a photographer.1 Henry Dermot Ponsonby Moore, 12th Earl of Drogheda used the pen-name of Derry Moore.1 He succeeded as the 14th Viscount Moore of Drogheda [I., 1622] in 1989.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baron Moore of Mellefont, co.
