Sir Robert Travers was the son of John Travers and Sarah Spenser.2 He married, firstly, Katherine Nangle in 1618.2,3 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of Rt. Hon. Most Rev. Richard Boyle and Martha Wright, in 1638.2 He died on 13 November 1647 at Knockharness, County Cork, IrelandG, killed in action.2
