George Chichester May was born on 25 May 1857.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. George Augustus Chichester May and Olivia Barrington. He married Margaret Louisa Egerton, daughter of Hon. Algernon Fulke Egerton and Alice Louisa Cavendish, on 10 October 1901.1 He died on 3 November 1924 at age 67.1
