     Ellen Quintal was born on 4 February 1837 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She is the daughter of John Quintal and Maria Christian.¹ She married John Stephen Christian, son of Fletcher Christian and Peggy Christian, on 24 November 1861 at Norfolk Island^G.² She died on 7 November 1910 at age 73 at Norfolk Island^G.²
     From 24 November 1861, her married name became Christian.²

     Edward Quintal was born in 1800 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Matthew Quintal and Teraura (?)² He married Dinah Adams, daughter of John Adams and Vahineatua (?), on 4 March 1819 at Pitcairn Island^G.³ He died on 8 September 1841 at Pitcairn Island^G.²
     In 1833 Edward was appointed a Pitcairn elder by Joshua Hill. When Hill first came to Pitcairn, Edward attracted his particular notice. Indeed, Edward stood by Hill to the last, although this bias did not pass to his children. His temper was well-known. In one dispute with John Evans, who was a very small man, he brought the matter to termination by lifting Evans over his head and throwing him into a pig-sty, causing him serious injury. Edward was an honest man, but severe and straight-laced. In general, he opposed the entry of the three Englishmen (Buffett, Evans, and Nobbs) to Pitcairn, and especially resented their leadership role, feeling that the leadership should be among the native Pitcairners.² He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island between 1838 and 1839.²

     Sarah Quintal was born on 5 April 1835 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She is the daughter of John Quintal and Maria Christian.¹ She married Philip McCoy, son of Daniel McCoy and Peggy Christian, on 25 December 1851 at Pitcairn Island^G.² She died on 28 July 1868 at age 33 at Norfolk Island^G.²
     In 1851 she was one of the 14 women who invited Admiral Moresby to visit Pitcairn.² From 25 December 1851, her married name became McCoy.

     Albert Christian was born on 31 March 1843 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He is the son of Thursday October Christian and Mary Young.¹ He died on 19 January 1861 at age 17 at Norfolk Island^G.²

     John Stephen Christian was born on 5 October 1843 at Pitcairn Island^G.² He is the son of Fletcher Christian and Peggy Christian.² He married Ellen Quintal, daughter of John Quintal and Maria Christian, on 24 November 1861 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He died on 16 May 1918 at age 74 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     John Stephen Christian usually went by his middle name of Stephen.³ He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Norfolk Island between 1886 and 1887.¹ He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Norfolk Island between 1889 and 1890.¹ He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Norfolk Island in 1893.¹

     Maria Lucy Christian was born on 13 June 1838 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Fletcher Christian and Peggy Christian.² She married Charles Driver Christian, son of Charles Christian and Maria Christian, on 8 July 1855 at Pitcairn Island^G.³ She died on 13 October 1904 at age 66 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     Maria Lucy Christian usually went by her middle name of Lucy.⁴ Maria Lucy Christian also went by the nick-name of Oty.¹

     Dinah Adams was born circa 1796 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Adams and Vahineatua (?)¹ She married Edward Quintal, son of Matthew Quintal and Teraura (?), on 4 March 1819 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She died on 18 January 1864 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     From 4 March 1819, her married name became Quintal.²

     Samuel Russell Warren was born on 28 February 1830 at Tiverton, Rhode Island, U.S.A.^G.¹ He married Agnes Christian, daughter of Thursday October Christian and Mary Young, on 6 December 1863 at Norfolk Island^G.² He died on 13 November 1877 at age 47 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹

     James Sanford Warren was born on 9 September 1864 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of Samuel Russell Warren and Agnes Christian.¹ He married Ellen Catherine Young, daughter of Moses Young and Albina McCoy, at Pitcairn Island^G.² He died circa May 1944 at Pitcairn Island^G, from a paralytic stroke.² He was buried on 14 May 1944 at Pitcairn Island^G.²
