     William Lyon was born on 30 September 1813 at Sydenham, Kent, England.2 He was the son of George Lyon and Anne Thomas.1 He married Louisa Charlotte Norton, daughter of William Norton and Martha Miller, on 29 October 1851.1 He died on 16 January 1892 at age 78.
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Louisa Charlotte Norton was baptised on 25 June 1828 at St. Mark, Kennington, Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of William Norton and Martha Miller.2 She married William Lyon, son of George Lyon and Anne Thomas, on 29 October 1851.1 She died on 18 April 1872 at age 43.1
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Edith Katherine Selby-Bigge was born on 31 March 1889 at Headington, Oxfordshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Lewis Amhurst Selby-Bigge, 1st Bt. and Edith Lindsay Davison.3,2 She married Captain Geoffrey Francis Bowes-Lyon, son of Hon. Francis Bowes-Lyon and Lady Anne Catherine Sybil Lindsay, on 31 October 1914.1 She died on 19 September 1971 at age 82.1
     Her married name became Bowes-Lyon.

     Her married name became Ogilvy.

     Lady Elizabeth Lyon was the daughter of Patrick Lyon, 3rd Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Lady Helen Middleton.1 She married, firstly, Charles Gordon, 2nd Earl of Aboyne, son of Charles Gordon, 1st Earl of Aboyne and Lady Elizabeth Lyon.1 She married, secondly, Patrick Kinnaird, 3rd Lord Kinnaird, son of Patrick Kinnaird, 2nd Lord Kinnaird and Hon. Anne Fraser, between 1703 and 1710.1 She married, thirdly, Captain Alexander Grant after 1715.1 She died in January 1739.1
     After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Lyon was styled as Countess of Aboyne. Her married name became Gordon.1 From between 1703 and 1710, her married name became Kinnaird.1 From after 1715, her married name became Grant.1
