     Thomas Mullins, 1st Baron Ventry was born on 25 October 1736.2 He was the son of William Mullins and Mary Rowan.3,2 He married Elizabeth Gunn, daughter of Townsend Gunn, on 5 October 1757.2 He died on 11 January 1824 at age 87.2
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He was created 1st Baronet Mullins, of Ventry, co. Kerry [Ireland] on 7 December 1797.2 He was created 1st Baron Ventry, of Ventry, co. Kerry [Ireland] on 31 July 1800.2

     Sir Valentine Blake, 12th Bt. was born on 23 June 1780.1 He was the son of Sir John Blake, 11th Bt. and Eleanor Lynch.1 He married, firstly, Eliza Donellan, daughter of Joseph Donellan and Ellis Lambert, on 8 August 1803.1 He married, secondly, Julia Sophia MacDonnell, daughter of Robert MacDonnell, on 8 April 1843.1 He died in January 1847 at age 66 at Menlough, County Galway, Ireland.1,2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Galway Borough between 1812 and 1820.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] in 1834.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Galway Borough between 1841 and 1847.1 He lived at Menlough, County Galway, IrelandG.1

     Eliza Donellan was the daughter of Joseph Donellan and Ellis Lambert.1 She married Sir Valentine Blake, 12th Bt., son of Sir John Blake, 11th Bt. and Eleanor Lynch, on 8 August 1803.1 She died on 8 May 1836.1
     From 8 August 1803, her married name became Blake.1
