He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] in June 1766.1 Circa July 1766 he returned to Ireland from Bordeaux, and had to pay Anastasia Blake £8,000 to obtain possession of the Menlough estate.1 He lived at Menlough, County Galway, IrelandG.1
