John Home1

     John Home was the son of Alexander Home, Master of Home and Agnes Hepburn.1 A contract for the marriage of John Home and Margaret Ker was signed on 20 March 1471/72.1 He died circa 22 June 1493.1
     He lived at Ersilton, ScotlandG.1 He held the office of Scottish Ambassador to England in 1491.1

     Margaret Ker was the daughter of Sir Thomas Ker of Ferniehurst.1 She married Thomas Kerr, 1st of Ferniehirst, son of Andrew Kerr of Auldtounburn and Cessford and Margaret Tweedie.1

     Her married name became Campbell.
