     Rt. Hon. Sackville Hamilton was born on 14 March 1732.1 He was the son of Hon. Henry Hamilton and Mary Dawson.1 He married Arabella Berkeley, daughter of Reverend Robert Berkeley and Anne Elizabeth Dawson.1 He died on 29 January 1818 at age 85.1
     He held the office of Chief Secretary for Ireland.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1
