Patricia Garnett McAlpine, daughter of Robert Edwin McAlpine, Baron McAlpine of Moffat and Ella Mary Gardner Garnett, on 2 December 1950.1 He died on 26 November 2003 at age 76 at 20 South Street, Wells, Somerset, EnglandG.2

Robin Sandbach Borwick, son of Robert Geoffrey Borwick, 3rd Baron Borwick and Margaret Elizabeth Sandbach, on 2 December 1950.3 She died on 21 August 2009 at age 77.4

Robert Edwin McAlpine, Baron McAlpine of Moffat was born on 23 April 1907.1 He was the son of William Hepburn McAlpine and Margaret Donnison Bishop.2 He married Ella Mary Gardner Garnett, daughter of James Gardner Garnett and Ella Mary Jones, on 8 December 1930.1 He died on 7 January 1990 at age 82.3
