     Her married name became Cholmley. Her married name became Rolle.1

     John Poulett, 1st Baron Poulett was born in 1586.2,3 He was the son of Sir Anthony Poulett and Catherine Norris.4 He married Elizabeth Kenn, daughter of Christopher Kenn.1 He died on 20 March 1648/49.3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset from 1610 to 1611.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset in 1614.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lyme Regis from 1621 to 1622.3 He was created 1st Baron Poulett, of Hinton St. George, Somerset [England] on 23 June 1627.1 He was appointed Knight on 27 September 1635 on board H.M.S. Mary Honor.3,4

     John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton of Aldenham was born on 10 January 1834 at Naples, ItalyG.1 He was the son of Sir Ferdinand Richard Edward Dalberg-Acton, 7th Bt. and Marie Louise Pelina von Dalberg.1 He married Maria Anna Ludmilla Euphrosina von und zu Arco auf Valley, daughter of Johann Maximilian Graf von und zu Arco auf Valley and Anna Margareta Maria Juliana Pelina Contessa Marescalachi, on 1 August 1865 at St. Martin, AustriaG.1 He died on 19 June 1902 at age 68 at Tegernsee, Bayern, GermanyG.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Acton, of Aldenham [Aldenham Hall, in Morville], Shropshire [E., 1644] on 31 January 1837.1 He was educated at Roman Catholic College, Oscott.1 Between 1859 and 1864 he was editor of the liberal Catholic Monthly Rambler as well as under its new name as a quarterly, The Home and Foreign Review.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Carlow between 1859 and 1865.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Bridgnorth from 1865 to 1866, with a majority of one, but was unseated after a petition in 1866.1 He was created 1st Baron Acton of Aldenham, co.      He is described as "a theologian, a professor, a man of letters, a member of Society. When at intervals all too long he quits his retirement at Cannes or Cambridge, his appearance is hailed with rejoicing by everyone who appreciates manifold learning, a courtly manner, and a delicately sarcastic vein of humour."1 Gibbs describes him as "a man of great personal charm and amiability, his liberal views and love of historic truth brought him into conflict with the narrower ultramontanes of his own communion. He collected an enormous library at Aldenham, but considering he was the most learned and widely read man of his day, he left singularly little work behind him ... He was enobled on the recommendation of Mr. Gladstone, whom he adulated, and followed and encouraged in his political divagations. He made no mark on in either House of Parliament."1 The Times obituary read, "a decided indolence of disposition, a certain mental timidity, a distinct want of national fibre, were his main imferpections."1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

     Sir Ferdinand Richard Edward Dalberg-Acton, 7th Bt. was born on 24 July 1801.2 He was the son of Sir John Francis Edward Acton, 6th Bt. and Mary Anne Acton.2 He married Marie Louise Pelina von Dalberg, daughter of Emmerich Josef Wolfgang Heribert Herzog von Dalberg and Pelina Brignole-Sale, on 9 July 1832 at Paris, FranceG.2 He died on 31 January 1837 at age 35.1
     He was given the name of Ferdinand Richard Edward Acton at birth.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Acton, of Aldenham [Aldenham Hall, in Morville], Shropshire [E., 1644] on 12 August 1811.1,2 On 20 December 1833 his name was legally changed to Ferdinand Richard Edward Dalberg-Acton by Royal Licence.2

     Marie Louise Pelina von Dalberg was born circa 1812.2 She was the daughter of Emmerich Josef Wolfgang Heribert Herzog von Dalberg and Pelina Brignole-Sale.1,3 She married, firstly, Sir Ferdinand Richard Edward Dalberg-Acton, 7th Bt., son of Sir John Francis Edward Acton, 6th Bt. and Mary Anne Acton, on 9 July 1832 at Paris, FranceG.3 She married, secondly, Granville George Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville, son of Granville Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Granville and Lady Harriet Elizabeth Cavendish, on 25 July 1840.3 She died on 14 March 1860 at Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.3,2
     From 9 July 1832, her married name became Dalberg-Acton.3 From 25 July 1840, her married name became Leveson-Gower.3 After her marriage, Marie Louise Pelina von Dalberg was styled as Countess Granville on 8 January 1846.

     Emmerich Josef Wolfgang Heribert Herzog von Dalberg was the son of Wolfgang Heribert von Dalberg zu Hernsheim, Reichsfreiherr von Dalberg zu Hernsheim.1 He died on 27 October 1833 at HernsheimG.1
     He gained the title of 1st Herzog von Dalberg. He was created Duke of the Empire [France] on 14 April 1810, by Napoleon, and confirmed by King Louis XVIII on 1 February 1817.1
