Robert Vaux of Barnbarroch1

     Robert Vaux of Barnbarroch was the son of John Vaux and Elizabeth Kennedy.1 He married Euphemia Graham, daughter of Malise Graham, 1st Earl of Menteith and Jane de Rochford, before 1456.1 He died after 6 March 1459.2
     He was also known as Robert Vaus of Barnbarroch.3 In 1451 he had a charter for Barnbarroch from William, Earl of Douglas.1 In 1456 he resigned Barnbarroch to his eldest son.1

     Euphemia Graham was the daughter of Malise Graham, 1st Earl of Menteith and Jane de Rochford.1 She married, firstly, Robert Vaux of Barnbarroch, son of John Vaux and Elizabeth Kennedy, before 1456.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Stewart after 1459.1
     From before 1456, her married name became Vaux.1 From after 1459, her married name became Stewart.1
