Reverend Charles Talbot Blayney, 8th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan was born on 27 January 1714.1 He was the son of Cadwallader Blayney, 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Mary Touchet.1 He married Elizabeth Mahon, daughter of Nicholas Mahon and Hon. Eleanor Blayney, on 3 November 1734.1 He died on 29 September 1761 at age 47, without surviving issue.1
He succeeded as the 8th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [I., 1621] on 19 March 1732/33.1 He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector in 1739 at Muckhoe, Clogher, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Prebendary of Derry in 1740.1 He was the Rector in 1740 at Conubar, Londonderry, County Londonderry, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Dean of Killaloe from 1750 to 1761.1

Lt.-Gen. Cadwallader Blayney, 9th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan was born on 2 May 1720.1 He was the son of Cadwallader Blayney, 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Mary Touchet.1 He married Elizabeth Tipping, daughter of Thomas Tipping and Sophia Aston, on 22 October 1767, with a fortune of £20,000.1 He died on 13 November 1775 at age 55.1 He was buried at Castle Blayney, County Monaghan, IrelandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 13 September 1777.1
He was Colonel of the 91st Foot between 1760 and 1763.1 He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Monaghan between 1761 and 1775.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Elizabeth Tipping was the daughter of Thomas Tipping and Sophia Aston.1 She married Lt.-Gen. Cadwallader Blayney, 9th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, son of Cadwallader Blayney, 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Mary Touchet, on 22 October 1767, with a fortune of £20,000.1 She died on 17 May 1775.1
