     Florine Isabel Irwin was the daughter of Colonel Herbert Edwardes Irwin.1 She married Sir Nigel Gresley Ball, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Charles Bent Ball, 1st Bt. and Annie Julia Kinahan, on 28 December 1922.1 She died on 9 November 1992.1
     From 28 December 1922, her married name became Ball.1

     Colonel Herbert Edwardes Irwin was the son of Reverend James William Irwin.2 He married Isabel Harriet Gray, daughter of Reverend Thomas Thompson Gray and Ellen Harriet Barton, on 12 October 1897.3 He died on 25 April 1924.3
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.1

     Ronald Herbert Ball was born on 19 November 1925.1 He was the son of Sir Nigel Gresley Ball, 3rd Bt. and Florine Isabel Irwin.1 He married, firstly, Pamela Mary Morton, daughter of John Morton, on 15 April 1950.1 He married, secondly, Diana Joy Pridham, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Pridham, in 1970.1 He and Diana Joy Pridham were divorced in 1980.1 He died on 4 October 1995 at age 69.1
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1943 in the Grenadier Guards.1 He lived Associate, Royal Institute of British Architects (A.R.I.B.A.)1

     From 3 February 1945, her married name became Maitland. From 1970, her married name became Ball.1
