Archibald Stuart and Anna Henderson.1,2 He married, firstly, Christian Bennet, daughter of Sir William Bennet, 1st Bt. and Christian Morison, in 1697.1,2 He married, secondly, Jean Hamilton, daughter of Alexander Hamilton, 2nd of Dalzell and Bethia Henderson, on 24 August 1700.2 He died in 1732.2
     He was officer, 3rd Foot Guards.2 He held the office of Master of Works, Tower of London.2 He lived at Dunearn, Fife, ScotlandG.1

     James Stuart was the son of Charles Stuart and Jean Hamilton.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Drummond, daughter of Adam Drummond of Binnend and Margaret Spittal, on 17 April 1737 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 He married, secondly, Alison Spittal, daughter of Captain James Drummond Spittal of Leuchars, younger and Elizabeth Leslie, on 4 April 1756 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 He died on 10 June 1777 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2
     He held the office of Provost of Edinburgh between 1764 and 1765.1 He held the office of Provost of Edinburgh between 1768 and 1769.1

     Alexander Stuart was the son of Charles Stuart and Christian Bennet.1 He married Christian Boterel.2 He died on 13 February 1786, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 11th Dragoons.2 He held the office of Keeper of Ludlow Castle.2
     He was known for his valuable collection of books and paintings.1 He lived at Dunearn, Fife, Scotland.2 He was Aide-de-CAmp to Lord Mark Ker in 1746.2 He fought in the Battle of Culloden in 1746.2

     Sir William Bennet, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir William Bennet, 1st Bt. and Christian Morison.1 He married, firstly, Jean Kerr, daughter of Sir John Kerr.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Scougall.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Hay, daughter of Sir David Hay.2 He died in December 1729.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1688 in the British Army, attending William III in Holland, and raising 50 men at his own cost.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Roxburgshire [Scotland] between 1693 and 1707.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Roxburgshire between 1707 and 1708.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bennet, of Grubet, co. Roxburgh [S., 1670] after 1708.1
