     Fortune Collin was born in 1654.2 She was the daughter of Laurence Collin.1 She married Thomas Smith, son of John Smith and Elizabeth Garton, on 27 February 1681.1 She died in March 1715/16.1
     From 27 February 1681, her married name became Smith.2

     In 1717 he purchased the estate of Broxtowe.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire from 1717 to 1718.1 He lived at Gaddesby, Leicestershire, England.3 He lived at Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1
     He had five daughters.1
